Frequently Asked Questions

What is ForTheMoms?

ForTheMoms is the first phase of ForTheFamily, a community-centered platform designed to support families through connection, shared experiences and accessible resources.

Phase one focuses on a private, online space for mothers to speak freely about their experiences, because when moms are supported, families thrive. No perfection required, no trolls allowed.

Who is this community for?

ForTheMoms is for moms at any stage: pregnancy, postpartum, infancy, toddlerhood or beyond.
Whether you’re married, single, co-parenting, or doing it solo, you’re welcome here.

Is this a therapy or medical support group?

No. ForTheMoms is a peer-support community, not a replacement for therapy or medical care.
We encourage sharing experiences, not diagnosing or giving medical/legal advice. When needed, we’ll always encourage professional support.

How much does it cost?

ForTheMoms is a paid monthly membership. This helps us keep the space safe, intentional, ad-free, and protected from outside noise — so members can show up honestly and feel supported.

That said, accessibility matters deeply to us. If pricing creates a barrier to entry, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We understand that parenting often leaves little room for extras, especially monthly expenses. If this community feels aligned for you, we’re open to working together to make it accessible.

What platform is the community hosted on?

ForTheMoms is hosted on Discord, a private platform designed for organized group conversations and community connection.

You don’t need prior experience with Discord. Clear, step-by-step instructions are provided after signup, and support is always available if you need help getting settled.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel your membership at any time.
If you’re on a monthly plan, your access will continue until the end of your billing period.

Is this space private?

Yes. Privacy is taken very seriously here.
What’s shared inside the community stays inside. No screenshots, sharing, or reposting outside the space.

What if I’m shy or not sure I’ll participate much?

That’s completely okay. Many members start by reading and listening.
There’s no pressure to perform, overshare, or be “on." This is a soft place to land.

How do I join?

Click Join the Village, choose your plan, and you’ll receive access instructions right after signing up.
